2024 Dorothy Lincoln Smith Voice Competition
The National Society of Arts and Letters is pleased to present the 2024 Dorothy Lincoln Smith Voice Competition for classical vocalists, age 23-31, deadline March 1, 2024, via video submission and application. Singers who live or attend school in DC, MD, and northern VA can apply through the NSAL-DC chapter, which will award to its 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners $2000, $1500, and $1000. The NSAL National competition will award $10,000 to its winners. 2024 Shirley Rabb Winston Scholarship in Classical Voice
The National Society of Arts and Letters is pleased to sponsor the 2024 Shirley Rabb Winston Scholarship in Classical Voice, for singers ages 16-22, deadline February 1, 2024, via video submission and application. The scholarship funds can be used for workshops, voice teachers, summer programs, college tuition, housing or travel. Singers who live or attend school in DC, MD, and northern VA can apply through the NSAL-DC chapter, which will award $1500, $1000 and $500 to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. An additional $12,000 in scholarships will be awarded at the NSAL National level.
