National Student Auditions:
MDDC Chapter
Audition Details
We are offering all age and style categories at the chapter level. Auditions will be split into two, in-person and virtual. This is to reach more students, including those who study online. The Classical and American Negro Spiritual categories will be in-person at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). The Musical Theatre and Commercial Music categories will be virtual. The virtual and in-person categories will be flipped in November 2027.

Be sure to check the video guidelines. Any videos that do not meet the guidelines will be judged for comments only. These students cannot place or move on to Regionals.
How to Register

We are using AuditionNow to register students. You can find it on the NATS website. You need to login to your account and be on the Member Home page. Under the heading “NATS National Student Auditions,” you'll find a yellow button labeled “AuditionNow.” Click here for a pdf on using AuditionNow.

Minor Chaperone Forms
Any student under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone/parent that’s not their voice teacher. There is a Minor Chaperone form that will be emailed to parents and teachers of all minor participants after registration. The form must be submitted by October 24. If a minor student doesn’t have a submitted form by the due date, the student will not be able to participate in the Auditions.
