MDDC Chapter

Audition Details

We are offering all age and style categories at the district level this year. Auditions will be split into two, in-person and virtual. This is to reach more students, including those who study online. The Classical and Spiritual Categories will be in-person at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). The Musical Theatre and Commercial Music Categories will be virtual. The virtual and in-person categories will be flipped in November 2025.

Video submission guidelines
Be sure to check the video guidelines. Any videos that do not meet the guidelines will be judged for comments only. These students cannot place or move on to Regionals.

Registration Dates
- In-Person (Classical and Spiritual): October 1st – 16th
- Virtual (Musical Theatre and Commercial): October 1st – November 6th
Minor Chaperone Form
- Teachers must collect this form for anyone student under 18 attending in-person auditions and turn it into Michelle Smith, msmith19@ccbcmd.edu.
Pre-Registration Form (optional)
- Teachers can use this form to collect information from students to assist with registration
